Team

SBFI Group has adopted a company-wide approach to corporate responsibility, making our brand values integral to our operations. We are committed to creating a sustainable workplace where our employees can thrive.

Training is to ensure staff understand and strive to achieve our environmental goals. We provide ongoing programs at all levels to increase environmental awareness. Staff input is actively encouraged to help us achieve our objectives.

Factories

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact through sustainable energy and waste management. Our energy conservation efforts include low emissions vehicles, energy-efficient LED panels and utilisation of factory waste for local energy. We also prioritise waste management by adopting paperless processes and minimising excess timber. Sorted recycling points for surplus timber, paper and steel are in place.

Our environmental efforts are independently audited and certified, including our ISO 14001 Audited Environmental Management Systems, ECOVADIS Bronze Sustainability Rating, and FSC supply chain.

Product

Our design philosophy focuses on creating products that last. By incorporating modular features, the solutions we provide are future-proofed and adaptable to changing needs. Component durability plays a large part in its success, remaining fully functional for years on end.

We design solutions to separate parts or upcycle products at the end of life – part of our comprehensive recycling service available to all customers.

We prioritise sustainable and healthy materials in our product designs, actively seeking those with high proportions of recycled and recyclable content. For instance, our timber is sourced from sustainable FSC-certified sources; chain of custody information can be provided upon request!

Less waste is a top priority for us. We meticulously calculate material excess in every project to reduce wastage. Our vehicles collect all packaging after delivery and return it to our premises for reuse or recycling. Around 90% of our packaging is reused and made from recyclable materials.
